Joana Branco

Joana Branco has a Ph.D in Biomedical Science (Baylor College of Medicine – Houston, EUA; ICBAS-Universidade do Porto). She specialized in Entrepreneurship by Porto Business School. Joana is co-founder of Gene PreDiT, a biotech company devoted to development of new therapy against obesity. She has been part of the team of Biocant Park since 2015, where her skills and expertise in entrepreneurship, incorporation of companies, technology transfer, sciencebased-business development and fundraising are relevant.
